DAP Farewell - Song Composed by Denise Grant and her small group at TTC Miami 2010

DAP FAREWELL
(song composed by Denise Grant and small group at TTC Miami June 2010)
(To the tune of Jamaican melody)

So you say you wanna be
You wanna do the DAP
And you all came to Miami
To learn it all at TTC.

Chorus:
You learn teaching, assessing and families
Curriculum and caring communities
The Zone of Proximal Development
Scaffolding and play and all that’s meant

Now I hope that you’ll agree
That these 5 days at TTC
Gave you the skills that you will need
To ably perform the DAP.

Chorus
You learn teaching, assessing and families
Curriculum and caring communities
The Zone of Proximal Development
Scaffolding and play and all that’s meant

A stretch but not an impossible leap
Be intentional about what you teach
A 4-year-old really can compose
Children can reach challenging and achievable goals

We are pleased to announce the first International School of Kuala Lumpur Workshop for Early Childhood Educators, February 5-6, 2010 at ISKL's Melawati campus.

At present, we have approximately 70 educators attending the workshop. Participants are coming not only from ISKL but also Mutiara Grammar School, Garden International School, The Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation, Tenby International School (Ipoh), ELC International School, and The Kuala Lumpur Alice Smith School.
